About this Position

We are looking for a strong technical leader who will take ownership of Industree’s
technology systems. This role will ensure that what gets built (by external development
vendors) is technically sound, scalable, secure, and aligned with Industree’s scale mission.
You will act as the technical gatekeeper — reviewing work in detail, catching issues early,
and ensuring development happens right the first time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own the overall architecture of ERPNext, web, mobile apps, and integrations.
2. Ensure accurate and consistent data flow across systems.
3. Define how systems connect and how data syncs (including offline scenarios).
4. Review and approve vendor technical designs and code quality.
5. Ensure proper version control, release processes, and documentation

7. Ensure databases are structured correctly and data is secure and backed up.
8. Enforce strong security and access controls across systems.
9. Ensure monitoring systems are in place to detect errors and performance issues
early.
10. Maintain a 6–12 month technical roadmap aligned with goals.
11. Guide junior analysts in testing, system validation, and understanding
architecture.
12. Lead root-cause reviews after technical incidents and reduce recurring issues.
13. Document architecture decisions and system processes.
14. Prepare systems for future integration of satellite imagery and carbon tools.
15. Work closely with all teams to ensure technology supports field operations
effectively.

Candidate Proffile

​

● 8–12 years of experience in building software systems, with at least 3 years in a Tech
Lead or Solution Architect role.
● Strong hands-on experience with modern web technologies (such as Next.js /
React) and backend systems (Node.js or similar).
● Good understanding of database design and data management (SQL or NoSQL).
● Experience working with ERP systems like ERPNext or similar, and integrating
systems through APIs.
● Exposure to mobile app development frameworks (React Native or Flutter).
● Experience managing or reviewing work done by external development teams or
vendors.
● Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Vercel), deployment
processes, and system security.
● Strong communication skills — able to explain technical concepts in simple terms
