Events & Operations Merchandiser

Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic, highly organized Events & Operations Merchandiser
to take full ownership of our event participation strategy. This role is a blend of
creative merchandising, meticulous logistics management, and proactive sales
support. The candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of events —
from securing the right space to ensuring the last SKU is sold and accounted for.
Travel Requirement
Travel may be required based on event schedules and operational needs

Roles & Responsibilities
Event Management & Execution (End-to-End)
Sourcing & Booking: Identify high-potential events and exhibitions such as
BIC, flea markets, and trade shows. Coordinate with organizers and secure
premium event spaces within budget.
Visual Merchandising: Plan and execute effective stall layouts and product
displays that communicate the brand story through attractive product
placement and signage.
On-Ground Logistics: Manage transportation, setup, and dismantling of
event stalls while ensuring timely delivery of stock and display materials.
Operational Coordination
Inventory Control: Coordinate with warehouse and stock teams to finalize
the right product assortment for each event.
Stock Tracking: Ensure all event SKUs are accurately uploaded and tracked
in the ERP system against inventory levels.
Line Sheets: Prepare and maintain event-specific line sheets and pricing
documents for smooth event operations and transactions.
Sales & Outreach Support
Pre-Event Calling: Support the sales team by reaching out to existing
databases and leads to increase event participation and footfall.
Lead Generation: Collect customer and visitor information during events and
support post-event follow-ups for sales conversion.
Product Expertise: Represent the brand at events by providing detailed
product knowledge, answering customer queries, and driving customer
engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration,
Event Management, or related fields.
Relevant experience in event coordination, merchandising, retail operations,
exhibitions, or sales support.
Experience in handling exhibitions, flea markets, retail activations, or trade
events will be preferred.
Skills and Competencies
Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage
multiple event activities simultaneously.
Good understanding of visual merchandising and event presentation.
Knowledge of inventory handling, SKU management, and ERP stock tracking.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction and
vendor coordination.
Ability to work collaboratively across sales, operations, warehouse, and
marketing teams.
Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to handle on-ground event
challenges effectively.
Flexibility to travel and support events during weekends or extended working
hours when required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure smooth execution of event
operations.
