50,000 Women to Champion Bamboo Livelihoods in Arunachal

Industree is happy to share that we have signed MoU with ArSRLM 𝗔𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗔𝗿𝗦𝗥𝗟𝗠) for the bamboo scale-up initiative. The initiative will work with 50,000 women in SHGs organized by ArSRLM.

𝗖𝗘𝗢 & 𝗦𝗠𝗗 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝗬𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 , 𝗖𝗢𝗢 𝗝𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆, and 𝗦𝗣𝗠 𝗚𝘆𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝘁𝗮 with Neju George Abraham, 𝗖𝗘𝗢, 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝘆𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻, Senior Manager, Project operations.

Arunachal Pradesh has a wide variety of naturally occurring Bamboo species, predominantly Bambusa nutans, Bambusa pallida, Bambusa tulda, Bambusa affinis, Chimonobambusa callosa, Bambusa Balcooa and Dendrocalamus hamiltonii.


Present in the picture are the 𝗖𝗘𝗢 & 𝗦𝗠𝗗 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝗬𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 , 𝗖𝗢𝗢 𝗝𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆, and 𝗦𝗣𝗠 𝗚𝘆𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝘁𝗮 with Neju George Abraham, 𝗖𝗘𝗢, 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝘆𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻, Senior Manager, Project operations.


This MoU was signed as part of the bamboo sub-sector initiative of the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), which aims to empower one million small and marginal women farmers by enabling them to engage in bamboo cultivation and access to markets.
