Shell Foundation and Industree Foundation partner to enhance the incomes of smallholder women farmers through the bamboo value chain

We’re excited to partner with Shell Foundation to co-create a scalable, seed-to-market women-led bamboo value chain model that strengthens incomes while contributing to climate action.

This collaboration goes beyond a single project—it is about reimagining how regenerative value chains can unlock long-term, dignified livelihoods for smallholder women farmers. By combining sustainable cultivation, decentralized processing, and strong market linkages, we aim to build a model that can be replicated at scale across India.

With a shared vision to reach 1 million women farmers by 2032, this replicable model shows what’s possible when innovation, sustainability, and women’s economic empowerment come together.
