The third edition of Flourish Hearth was a vibrant confluence of craft, culture, and community, where makers and mindful consumers came together to rediscover the joy of handmade. Held on October 11–12, 2025, at the Shankara Foundation, Bengaluru, the event featured 70+ artisans from across India, bringing with them the stories, skills, and spirit of their craft traditions.
Flourish Hearth invited visitors to slow down, connect, and engage with the world of making. Alongside the marketplace, over six hands-on sessions led by master artisans gave participants the chance to try their hand at block printing, Gond painting, Cheriyal mask painting, and more — understanding firsthand the rhythm and artistry behind each handmade piece.

Adding another dimension to the experience was the experiential art gallery curated by Resham Dor, showcasing 8 languishing art forms with design interventions under the Flourish program — each piece a testament to the potential of creative collaboration in keeping heritage alive.
The stage came alive with rich cultural performances, from the folk rhythms and storytelling traditions of Koraput, Odisha, in collaboration with Bangla Natak, to the Yakshagana performance of Devi Mahatme by Yaksha Kala Academy, celebrating the grandeur of Karnataka’s heritage. Music lovers were treated to the soulful fusion of Mystik Vibes and an energetic performance by Vasu Dixit, creating a festive spirit that resonated through the evening.

A key highlight was the workshop for artisans organized by AIACA (All India Artisans and Craftspersons Welfare Association), which delved into the significance of the Craftmark tag in validating authenticity, ensuring quality, and enhancing the market value of craft products. The session saw enthusiastic participation from over 35 artisans.
The Flourish Dialogues continued the conversation through the panel “Eco-Heritage: Reviving Crafts & Restoring Nature,” featuring an inspiring lineup of speakers:
Lakshmi Malhotra (Founder, Resham Dor), Maitri Ravishankar (Craft-centric Designer), Geetha Bhat (Founder, Centre for Revival of Indigenous Art), and Meenu Chopra (Executive Director, AIACA), moderated by Laisham Romal Michael Singh, Assistant Editor, Indulge – The New Indian Express.

The response from both artisans and visitors was overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing Flourish Hearth’s purpose: to create meaningful spaces where people can engage with heritage, celebrate sustainability, and forge deeper connections through craft.
